Logo Explanation

My logo is for a made up company, that makes a tattoo program that helps people design their own tattoo's.  With my logo, I used two of my earlier designs and combined them together. I had some problems with the colors, I think that they could be a little better. I am happy with the over all design, I was starting to get the hang of the programs we went over in class. I did most of my design for this logo in Illustrator. I finished up the design for this logo in Photo-shop because I understand that program a little better.  My design is pretty basic some of my pictures are off of a free clip art website. I am horrible at drawing so using the clip art helped me start my basic design. I used 6 different color blocks one on top of each other.  Then I took the liquefy tool to make the colors look like tattoo ink coming from the tattoo gun on to the computer screen . I also used a couple of different tools to make the colors more ink like. One of them was the plastic graphic on Photo-shop. Overall my design is showing a tattoo gun connected to a mouse that is manipulating ink on the computer screen.
